Mexican Spiced Strawberry JamPrintable version of this recipe.Ingredients3 pints strawberries 3/4 cups water 4 tablespoons sugar (optional) 1/4 cup orange juice 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (freshly ground)
InstructionsBegin by rinsing the strawberries and removing the stems. Thinly slice the berries and set aside. In a medium sauce pot, bring the water to a boil and add the sugar. Add the strawberries. Stirring frequently, cook the berries until they begin to break down and the liquid reduces about 1 inch. Stir in the cinnamon and nutmeg. Add the orange juice and stir through.
