Indian-style Cauliflower and Potatoes (Aloo Gobhi)Printable version of this recipe.Ingredients1/4 cup vegetable oil 2 large cauliflower (cubed) 4 large potatoes (cubed) 1 teaspoon ginger (fresh, mashed) 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed 1/2 teaspoon turmeric 2 teaspoons coriander powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 cup green peas
InstructionsHeat oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat and fry the cumin seeds for about 2 minutes. When it turns brown, start mix in potatoes. Brown slightly, then add cauliflower. Add turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and the mashed ginger. Stir until liquid comes out of the cauliflower and potatoes. Add cumin and coriander powder.
