This week's featured product is Tangerines.
A tangerine is a small citrus fruit that is usually sweeter and less tart than an orange. The Murcott tangerine, sometimes called the honey tangerine, is the sweetest variety. Its compact size makes it a convenient as well as delicious snack, delivering loads of vitamin C. Tangerines are also great additions to arugula salads, fruit salads, and sweet curries or salsas.
In California, tangerines are typically available November through April.
