Berry Best Farm - Lathrop

Berry Best Farms grows a variety of strawberries, blackberries, boysenberries, crenshaw melons, cucumbers, zucchinis, and peppers on their four acre family-run farm in Brentwood. The Hipolito family grow their favorite fruits and vegetables, as well as their customers’ favorites, and choose an array that is appropriate for the climate and soil.

Berry Best Farms harvests everything by hand and pick their produce early in the morning and fresh each day. The Hipolitos takes pride in what they put into the ground and they love to watch their plants grow healthy and full of fruit.

The Hipolito family comes from a line of farmers, with their parents working on a farm for twenty years, and had always hoped to follow in their family’s footsteps and grow their own produce. They've been farming for ten years and the entire family is involved in every aspect; from planting the seeds, to harvesting, to selling at the farmers’ market.

The Hipolitos believe that farmers’ markets are a great way to get involved and meet their customers face-to-face. They are proud to sell their family’s produce and know that their customers are getting excellent quality fruits and vegetables at a reasonable price. It’s their family’s goal to educate and enrich people’s lives by growing local produce.
