About the San Leandro Downtown Farmers' Market

The San Leandro Farmers' Market offers the best in fresh, locally-grown fruits and vegetables and family fun all summer long.

Every Wednesday, Parrott Street in downtown San Leandro istransformed into a vibrant marketplace of sweet, juicy, tree-ripened fruits; delicious, healthy, just-picked vegetables; beautiful fresh-cut flowers; gourment foods; and tasty snacks.

Every week of the month the farmers' market also offers free events that turn every trip to the market into a fun outing for the whole family!

1st Wednesday: Cooking Demonstrations
2nd Wednesday: Green Market Days sponsored by San Leandro Recycling
3rd Wednesday: Active Wednesdays
4th Wednesday: Wine Tasting sponsored by San Leandro Downtown Business Association

Market Match

The San Leandro Downtown Farmers' Market is offering the Market Match incentive program that offers a $5 bonus when you purchase at least $10 in CalFresh/EBT tokens at the Farmers' Market. If you receive CalFresh benefits (food stamps), bring your EBT card to the farmers' market every time you shop. See the market manager in the green shirt with the PCFMA logo to purchase tokens to spend in the market and claim your bonus. The Market Match program continues at the San Leandro Downtown Farmers' Market until October 30, 2013.
